You walk into Famalicão da Serra and look around. That was easy. You started in Belmonte, birthplace of the explorer Cabral, and from there the route rolled gently up and down. A little over four hours of walking is all this day asks of you. You barely notice the highest point.
Finding somewhere to sleep does take some preparation here. There is no listed accommodation in or around the village. So book a bed in advance, or choose a place earlier or further along. That keeps the day light. Take your time for a break along the way, as there is room for it.
