This is a day that’s simply a gift. The land rolls gently, you descend a little more than you climb, and after just over 5 hours you’re already there. Nobody is rushing you. So go ahead and have that second coffee and strike up a conversation with the pilgrim next to you. The Camino provides.
The landscape is typically Galician: meadows, farms and stretches of woodland, with only the sound of your own footsteps for company now and then. Vilalba is a quiet little town where you’ll naturally come across the medieval Torre de los Andrade. With your rucksack already off, it’s lovely to wander around here for a while. Enjoy it, the end of the Camino is getting closer.
