Eucalyptus woods, meadows with cows, stone sheds and tiny hamlets. This is Galicia at its greenest. From Sobrado you follow narrow paths and quiet roads. The route rolls constantly, but overall you descend more than you climb.
The day takes a good 6 hours and stays pleasant going. There’s no big climb, but plenty of small hills that add up. In Arzúa you join the Camino Francés. It suddenly gets busier, with pilgrims from all corners of the world. There is a public albergue, and the town is known for its cheese. Walk at your own pace and you’ll arrive feeling fresh.
