This last day asks little of your legs and more of your mind. You’ll be walking for a good five hours, with more descents than climbs. There are no steep ascents and no tricky sections, so you can settle into your own pace and reflect on everything that lies behind you.
In Trinidad de Arre you arrive at the public albergue. This is where the Baztán joins the Camino Francés. If you’re carrying on to Santiago, you simply keep walking tomorrow, when it suddenly gets a lot busier. If you’re stopping here, take a moment to stand still. You’ve walked it. Enjoy the last few kilometres, as they go by faster than you think.
