Today is all about water. Twice you come to a ford: first the Arroyo Cabrillas, later the Río Yeltes. If the water is high, there is a detour at both. So take a good look before you take your shoes off.
Otherwise it is an average day of almost 7 hours of walking. The terrain is gently rolling, so you don’t have to battle steep climbs. It’s mostly a matter of keeping going and finding your own rhythm. That’s easy to do here.
Alba de Yeltes slowly gets closer. You walk into the village, put your rucksack down and take your shoes off. Finally, a chance to sit down.
