Your legs won’t be asked for much today, but your head will. It’s the first day, everything is new and your rucksack still feels strange on your shoulders. Luckily, this is a friendly introduction: almost four hours of walking, with hardly any climbing.
Ferrol lets go of you slowly. First the edge of the port and city streets, then it gets greener and you follow the water of the ría. This is a day for easing yourself in, not for performing. Neda lies on that same water. You’ll arrive without rushing and still full of energy, which is exactly the idea.
Keep the pace low and look around you. The rest of the way will come by itself.
