This day asks little of your legs, but a bit of your patience. It’s an easy stage of just over five hours, with gentle ups and downs through woodland, past meadows and through small villages. Nowhere does it get really steep.
Here you’re walking together with the Camino Francés. Same route, same albergues and suddenly far more pilgrims around you. After the quiet Primitivo, it takes a bit of getting used to. But everyone is heading the same way, and that gives you energy too. Santiago now feels really close.
In O Pedrouzo you walk into the village past the cafés. Rucksack off, boots off, find a spot outside and watch who comes in. Tomorrow is the final stretch.
